Tiger Sharks Sweep WCC Swimming and Diving Championships!

The Tiger Sharks had a spectacular outing today, taking home both boy’s and girl’s WCC Conference Championships. Saturday, January 10th is an important day for our Boys and Girls Swimming and Diving Teams as they compete in the last WCC Swim Championships! The Tiger Sharks had a great meet Saturday morning and swam very well off of a tough week of training. GMS Girls Swimming & Diving Team Wins!

Greencastle Middle School Girls won the MS WCC Championship last night, sweeping all three relays in the process (always one of my major goals). In addition, Grace Gillen set the GMS record for the 50 fly with a time of 29.37. The old record was set in 2006 by Melissa Ball. Congratulations Little Tiger Sharks!

Good Luck Swim/Diving Team at Sectional!

Our boys begin IHSAA sectional swimming and diving competition this Thursday at Avon.  Doors open at 4:30, competition starts at 5:30p.  Sectional finals are on Saturday, diving begins at 9:00a and swim finals start at 1:00p.  Good Luck Tiger Sharks!

The Greencastle High School Swim and Dive Team chose the American Cancer Society for their philanthropy this season. The Varsity Swimmers made a much more meaningful Saturday practice as the athletes participated in the 2nd Annual Laps for Life, lap-a-thon. Tuesday, January 28th.  Diving at 5:00, Swimming at 6:00.
